When most people consider a new workout, they visualize going to a gym and lifting heavy weights or handling a lot of confusing machinery for 2 hours! Fitness is not a complicated thing... It doesn't take HOURS either! It just takes commitment!!
The Adult Fitness classes are for ages 18 and up . These upbeat sessions are geared for those that have decided to take an active approach to better health! AND this can be done in a reasonable amount of time!
The 60-minute* class includes a warm-up and cooldown session to help prevent injury and excessive soreness. The interval training session will incorporate bodyweight exercises with a timed amount of rest between sets. This keeps the heart rate at a fat-burning pace!! Even though bodyweight exercises are mainly used, as we progress or if you feel you are ready to step it up a bit, equipment such as dumbells and medicine balls will be used.
As with any exercise program, please consult your physician to ensure you are able to handle strenuous activities. Just about ANYONE can participate! Modifications to, or substitutions of exercises can be made, if necessary.
